All accommodation on your Wanderlands Fiji trip is sorted.

We will move across four different locations during the tour and rooms will vary between twin shares to dorm accommodation. Accommodation in Fiji can be very simple “Island Style” but all of our resorts/hostel have been carefully selected so they are in great locations and are clean and secure. On our last two resorts, the “meal plan” is mandatory, however, it’s not included on the trip price. At Blue Lagoon it will cost $119FJD and at Mantaray Island, $99FJD.

This cost includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Life was meant for good friends and great adventures and with our small intimate groups of up to 10 people, that’s just what you’ll get. Our groups are filled with young, fun and adventurous like-minded travellers between the ages of 18-30’s from all corners of the globe. With a group like this you are bound to have an awesome time, make new friends and share experiences – after all, who wants to explore Fiji alone?

Insurance

It is compulsory for all groupies to have travel insurance whilst traveling with Wanderlands Fiji. Traveling is all about adventure and experiencing the unknown. Unfortunately, this can mean that some things don’t always go to plan from time to time. Whilst you are in the safe hands of your group leader from the moment you walk through arrivals to the end of the tour, planes can sometimes be delayed, luggage can go missing and accidents can happen. Your group leader will check your documents at the beginning of the tour to ensure you are correctly covered and you can travel with peace of mind. It is important your travel insurance covers you for the following:

* Medical expenses

* Missed flights

* Luggage loss and theft

All activities included in the tour and anything you plan on doing during your stay in Fiji – snorkeling, scuba dive, surfing, etc. If you haven’t got your insurance arranged yet, simply get in touch with us and we can help you arrange it. Please feel free to call us on (+61) 2 8541 6557 or E-mail: info@wanderlands.travel

Firstly, pack light!

You will be doing a few moving around during the trip and you do not want to be carrying around more than you need!

We highly recommend a backpack rather than a massive suitcase as you will be the one having to carry it.

Fiji has a few western shops where you can find some basic supplies.

Here is a checklist of the main things to bring when you travel:

Packing checklist:

  • Passport
  • Flight tickets
  • Credit cards and some cash
  • Padlock for your bag
  • Printed out copy of your travel insurance
  • Camera & charger
  • Phone & charger
  • Cool music playlist
  • International plug adapter
  • Beach gear
  • A light rain jacket

Where can I stay if I arrive before the start date?

Where can I purchase insurance?

Travel is all about adventure and the unknown, but that doesn’t mean you should be too risky. It is imperative that all Wanderlands Groupies are covered by travel insurance and because we have been doing this for a while, and know exactly the type of cover you will need, we recommend booking yours through World Nomads.

What are the room allocations?

We will be staying in twins and mixed shared dormitories for the duration of the trip. There are options at some locations to obtain a private room but these are very expensive and sell out quick so we cannot guarantee.

Is there Wi-Fi available in our hotels?

Wifi is very limited within Fiji and some of the resorts have times during the day where it will be turned on for you to get in contact with your family and friends. This is often a good thing as it really lets you get away from the hustle of modern life and you can enjoy paradise that much more. If you really need to stay connected then you can obtain a sim card from the airport with mobile data.

What kind of accommodation do we stay in?

We stay in hostels and hotels, they all have air conditioning, swimming pools and are clean, comfortable and tidy.
