Insurance

It is compulsory for all groupies to have travel insurance whilst traveling with Wanderlands Croatia. Traveling is all about adventure and experiencing the unknown. Unfortunately, this can mean that some things don’t always go to plan from time to time. Whilst you are in the safe hands of your group leader from the moment you walk through arrivals to the end of the tour, planes can sometimes be delayed, luggage can go missing and accidents can happen. Your group leader will check your documents at the beginning of the tour to ensure you are correctly covered and you can travel with peace of mind. It is important your travel insurance covers you for the following:

* Medical expenses

* Missed flights

* Luggage loss and theft

All activities included in the tour and anything you plan on doing during your stay in Croatia – snorkelling, kayaking, rafting, bike ride, zip line, etc. If you haven’t got your insurance arranged yet, simply get in touch with us and we can help you arrange it. Please feel free to call us on (+61) 2 8541 6557 or E-mail: [email protected]

Your personal spending on your Croatia trip will include your Dinner, drinks, shopping, entertainment and any activities outside of those included your Wanderlands adventure.
For the entirety of our 10 Day Croatia Wanderlands Yacht Week We would recommend a budget of $300 – $800. Any travel budget will fluctuate between personalities, so ask yourself: “What type of traveler are you?”
The Hippie: Brings about $300-$400 for the 10 days. Eats local food, bargains well at the market, finds good prices on drinks and picks, and chooses their optional activities wisely! Often likely to continue travelling after their FNEZ trip is complete.
The Backpacker: $400-$600 spending money. A bit more frivolous but is aware of their budget. Takes in most activities they are interested in, without going too extravagant. Likes to party, but always looking for a good deal.
The Rock Star: $600 – $800: Not too worried about their budget, they’ll do almost everything, including lavish amounts of shopping and partying often. There won’t be too much holding them back from activities, as this is their trip and don’t want to let anything pass them by.
To help you work out your own budget, here are some examples of prices in Croatia (all prices in USD).

How much are the extra Entertainment & Activities?

Each cabin has it’s own private washroom with shower and a mirror so although you’re at sea, you still have some comforts to add to the coziness and simplicity of living on a boat for an entire week. There is generally some wifi available on the yacht, and tons of places to charge your electronics through the day.
